Calendar is also Explorer-owned in the current product.
Users reach it from the Explorer sidebar rather than from a separate top-level app model.
What Calendar is good for
- seeing account calendars in one workspace
- working with event detail, date selection, and calendar filters
- linking meeting and scheduling context back into tasks, notes, folders, and cases
- using scheduling-oriented flows when the deployment enables them
What Calendar is not
- a replacement for task ownership
- the only record of project progress
- a separate silo from the repository
Recommended usage
- Review the event or time window in Calendar.
- Connect outcomes back to the owning folder, note, task, or case.
- Use tasks for accountable execution and notes for durable meeting outcomes.
Guardrails
- keep event ownership clear when multiple accounts are connected
- avoid leaving important decisions only in calendar event descriptions
- if the view is missing, calendar integration is probably not enabled for your deployment or account
