Update Web and Desktop App

Stale client state is a common source of false bug reports.

Web client update flow

  1. reload session
  2. confirm expected build behavior is visible
  3. clear browser cache only if behavior remains stale

Desktop client update flow

  1. verify installed desktop version
  2. update to approved release
  3. reopen active repository workflow
  4. validate file open/edit/publish behavior

Post-update checks

  • shared links open as expected
  • search and navigation reflect current state
  • file workflows behave consistently across users

Escalation rule

If two users on updated clients still see different behavior in the same folder context, escalate with item IDs and timestamps rather than screenshots only.
