Install Web Desktop and Mobile

Most teams should use multiple clients, but with clear intent for each one.

Web app (default)

Use web as your baseline client:

  • full repository navigation
  • broad feature coverage
  • easiest onboarding and support

Desktop app (power workflows)

Use desktop when users need tighter OS-level workflows:

  • open/edit with local desktop tools
  • structured local editing flows
  • native desktop integration behavior

Desktop is most valuable for heavy document production teams.

Mobile app (on-the-go)

Use mobile for fast response workflows:

  • read updates quickly
  • respond in chat/tasks
  • capture lightweight changes away from desktop
  1. onboard all users in web
  2. add desktop for high-edit users
  3. add mobile for responsiveness and field work

Operational check

After client rollout, verify users can access the same folder context consistently across clients and are not creating divergent personal workflows.
